Terms & Conditions – Life After DV

Life After DV is operated by Julie York (“we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms apply to your participation in any Life After DV programs, including The Self-Trust Reset, online groups, sessions, and any related services (“Programs”).

1. Acceptance

By enrolling in a Program, you agree to these Terms.

You must be 18 years or older to participate.

2. Nature of the Program (Important)

Life After DV Programs are educational and coaching-based. They are not therapy, counselling, or medical support.

Nothing provided should be taken as psychological, medical, legal, or professional advice.

You are responsible for your own decisions, wellbeing, and outcomes.

If you require therapeutic or medical support, you should seek a qualified professional. 

This program is not suitable for those requiring crisis or therapeutic support. 

3. Participation & Responsibility

You agree to:

• engage respectfully with others

• take responsibility for your own choices and actions

• not rely solely on the Program for personal or mental health support

Results are not guaranteed.

4. Payments

All prices are in AUD.

You may choose:

• full payment, or

• payment plan (if offered)

If you select a payment plan:

• you are committing to the full program investment, not a pay-as-you-go arrangement

• all scheduled payments must be completed, regardless of attendance or participation

• if a payment is missed, your access to the program may be paused until the payment is resolved

• continued non-payment may result in removal from the program, with the remaining balance still payable

Payments are processed securely via Stripe or other providers we use.

5. Refunds

Due to the nature of the Program, payments are non-refundable. This includes change of mind or inability to attend.

6. Confidentiality & Group Safety

This is important.

You agree to:

• keep all personal information shared by other participants private

• not share, screenshot, or distribute anything from sessions or group spaces

This includes:

• stories

• names

• experiences

We aim to create a safe space — this relies on everyone respecting confidentiality.

7. Your Content

Anything you choose to share is your responsibility.

By participating, you agree that:

• you will not share harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

• you will respect the privacy and boundaries of others

We reserve the right to remove participants who breach this.

8. Intellectual Property

All Program content is owned by Life After DV.

This includes:

• session material

• worksheets

• frameworks

• recordings

You may not:

• copy

• reproduce

• share

• teach or repurpose

any part of the Program without written permission.

9. Access & Conduct

We reserve the right to remove access if:

• these Terms are breached

• behaviour is harmful to others

• payments are not completed

No refunds will be provided in these cases.

10. Disclaimer & Liability

You participate at your own risk.

To the extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your participation

• we are not responsible for interactions between participants

11. Changes

We may update these Terms when needed.
